Today Argyll opens its new Leeds office, adding to its existing Reading and London offices.
Managing Partner, Richard Hall, commented: “Since Argyll started in 2013 it has had a presence in the Leeds area and has a number of clients in that part of the country. The new physical location in the centre of Leeds will allow us to be closer to the Leeds and Manchester pension communities and service clients from a local office.”
He added: “We are also delighted to announce that Richard Walker has joined us from PwC to spearhead our growth initiative in the region and will be based in the new Leeds office. Richard brings with him exceptional restructuring and covenant expertise and he will add greatly to our firm’s capability.”
Prior to joining Argyll, Richard spent nearly 17 years at PwC, most recently in its pensions covenant and restructuring practice. He advised trustees and corporate clients with pension schemes ranging from £10m to over £1bn on triennial valuations, corporate transactions, performance monitoring and PPF levy.
Richard has advised clients across a wide variety of sectors, including financial services, logistics, aerospace, manufacturing, automotive and retail. He has experience of working with companies with a variety of ownership structures including UK listed businesses, subsidiaries of overseas parent companies, private businesses and not for profit organisations.
